BA, MSc Acupuncture, MBAcC
Louise’s interest in Chinese Medicine started when she began practising Tai Qi and Qi Gong with Feras Jerjis in 2004. Louise had previously completed an English degree and in 2006 when the opportunity arose to move to rural south-western Japan for two years she seized the opportunity.
Whilst in Japan Louise was able to immerse herself in the Eastern culture and explored the Japanese approach to health. Their focus on health maintenance and preservation through diet, Shiatsu and herbs went on to Louise studying a degree in Acupuncture at the Northern College of Acupuncture, one of the foremost educational and research institutions for acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the UK.
Louise has a keen interest in working with fertility, IVF and pregnancy and has supported many couples on their path to pregnancy and birth. However, she also treats gynaecological issues, headaches and migraines, insomnia, digestive complaints and pain.
In 2015 she studied for a Diploma with Dr Trevor Wing of The Women’s Natural Health Practice on Harley Street where she expanded on her TCM knowledge along with biomedical research and approaches to treatment. After being awarded a distinction she is now an Associate Practitioner of the Women’s Natural Health Practice.
Louise is a fully licensed practitioner and member of the British Acupuncture Council.
