Chinese Herbal Medicine and Chinese herbs have been used in healthcare for over 5,000 years. As part of your treatment at Jesmond Acupuncture Clinic, your practitioner may choose to prescribe herbs as part of your fertility treatment plan.
We use a combination of many herbs, derived from the flowers, leaves, stem, seeds and roots of plants to make up your own individualised formula.
Herbal formulas are prescribed in a granulated form.
Chinese Herbal Medicine can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including:
- Respiratory disorders, infections and allergies
- Male and Female Infertility
- PCOS, Endometriosis and Fibroids
- Insomnia
- Menopause and Peri-menopausal Symptoms
- Menstrual Problems: Dysmenorrhoea (Menstrual Pain), Amenorrhoea etc
More Details
All practitioners are registered with the appropriate governing bodies including the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM) and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM). This ensures high standards of training and compliance with UK laws, which has prohibited the use of ingredients from endangered animals or minerals.
Herbs used by practitioners are all GMP approved from RCHM approved suppliers.
Herbal Medicine Consultation:
In-person Consultation(Included in Acupuncture consultation) or: £130/1 hour
Herbal medicine treatment package:
3 months treatment including monthly online consultation and bespoke herbal formulas: £300 per month.
