Laura Bicker

 Laura started her journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2000 with a five-year BSc Hons degree in TCM. This took her to Beijing, where she underwent six months of intensive training in two of the city’s teaching hospitals, receiving a Bachelor of Medicine.  

​After graduating from Middlesex joint with Beijing University in 2005, she set up her first practice in Jesmond and has been helping couples build their families ever since. 

Every year Laura is dedicated to developing and expanding her professional knowledge and skillset, training under expert practitioners such as Jane Lyttleton, Charlie Buck, Janni White, Naava Carmen and Sharron Wizenbaum.

In 2018, Laura completed an Advanced Fertility Diploma, a new qualification for experienced practitioners that brings together Western diagnostic techniques with traditional Chinese treatments. Alongside training at Warwick University (2019), this has expanded her knowledge further into the area of reproductive immunology. In 2020 Laura completed training with the British Fertility Society, Jane Lyttleton and Dr Olivia Pojer to expand her knowledge around Andrology and Male infertility.  

Laura completed her 200hr Forrest Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 and runs a weekly yoga class for women’s health and fertility.  She enjoys sharing her love of yoga and the benefits it brings both on the fertility journey and in aiding physical recovery post-partum.

Laura’s has also completed a two-year graduate mentorship program under Sharon Wizenbaum, who has over 30 years of experience in herbal gynaecology and classical herbal medicine.

Most recently Laura completed a 9 month training in conscious connected breath work, completing her tool kit to help support patients with her fully holistic approach.
