Louise Collyer

Louise is a graduate of the Northern College of Acupuncture in York where she completed a 3 year Post Graduate Diploma in TCM Acupuncture. Very quickly after graduation she began to work with an increasing number of gynecology, fertility, IVF and pregnancy cases and went on to specialise in women’s health. In 2015 she studied for a Diploma with Dr Trevor Wing of The Women’s Natural Health Practice on Harley Street where she expanded on her TCM knowledge along with biomedical research and approaches to treatment. After being awarded a distinction she is now an Associate Practitioner of the Women’s Natural Health Practice.

In 2017 Louise graduated with a Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Acupuncture Foundation in Dublin and is fully qualified to prescribe herbal formulas alongside her practice of acupuncture.  In 2018 she completed her diploma training with Naava Carmen of The Fertility Support Company and she is now one of a handful of nationwide affiliates. This training further developed her understanding and success of working with patients suffering from complex reproductive immunology issues, endometriosis, PCOS, and patients undergoing IVF and ICSI.

In 2020 Louise embarked on her Functional Medicine training with Dr Aviva Romm, in order to offer a blend of Chinese and Integrative Medicine to further develop her skills in the area of gynecology and fertility and to help patients get to the root cause of their symptoms.  This enables us within the clinic to offer comprehensive testing and treatment of the gut and vaginal microbiome, the adrenals and reproductive hormones.

Louise is a fully licensed practitioner of the British Acupuncture Council, The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The Acupuncture Fertility Network, and The Natural Women’s Health Practice.
